What is Tallow?

What is Tallow?

Tallow is rendered beef fat, specifically the hard fat surrounding the organs such as the kidneys. We render it at least 3 or 4 times as part of our purification process to remove any impurities.
Our tallow is only from grass fed and grass finished cows, which are higher in vitamins and a better ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids.
Tallows composition is nearly identical to our skin, making it so compatible with all skin types. It deeply hydrates our skin improving skin health, all without clogging pores. It's anti inflammatory, calming redness and irritated skin. And its even antibacterial, helpful for minor cuts, scrapes and burns.
It is pure, clean, simple and non-toxic, unlike most products on the market today.
Tallow is rich in fat-soluble vitamins such as A, D, E, K and fatty acids that are SO beneficial to our skin.
Vitamin A : Reduce acne and skin irritations, Increases collagen production.
Vitamin D : Slow signs of aging
Vitamin E : Protects and reverses free radical damage, improve moisture, repair, lighten dark spots, help with scarring and stretch marks.
Vitamin K : Skin healing
And if you think this is something new or ’trendy”, think again! Tallow being used as skin care has been around for centuries.
Where does our tallow come from?
We source our tallow from a cattle farm in the Florida Panhandle. They are happy pasture raised, grass fed and grass finished cows. NO antibiotics, NO hormones EVER.
They are one of two farms in the entire state of Florida that raise, butcher and distribute their own meat, they don’t send out to factories and they process in small batch ensuring they stay as “Farm Direct” as possible.
Your tallow products are made small batch all the way from the farm to the jar. Why would you want it any other way?
Whats added to the tallow?

Everything added is organic and natural ingredients. Jojoba oil, beeswax, essential oils, rosehip oil, calendula, and coconut oil.
